Orting Jr Cardinal Basketball

We will offer basketball for Kindergarten thru 2nd grade girls and boys for the Winter 2025 season. All teams will be coed. All practices and games will be at Orting Elementary School.

Registration is $95.00 and includes a T-shirt and Basketball at the end of the season.

Practice starts the week of Jan 8th and Games will run from Jan 20th-Mar 2nd.

We are excited for our young basketball players to have an opportunity to play together and get back out onto the courts! 

Orting Jr. Cardinal 3rd/4th Grade Winter 2024/2025 - Winter 2024

Welcome to 3rd and 4th Grade Recreation Basketball. The teams are divided into Boys and Girls and are grade based. 

We are part of the Puyallup Parks and Recreation League. We do hold all of our practices in Orting, but all games are played in a Puyallup School District Facility. Practices will begin first week of December, but games will not begin until after Winter Break and sometimes run through the 1st or 2nd weekend in March. There will be 2 practices per week and games on Saturdays. 

There is another form required for you to fill out to also register with Puyallup, there is no fee, but they require us to fill out their registration form for their records. This will be sent out to each player after you register with Orting. 

The registration cost will cover your child's fee to join the Puyallup Recreation League, Insurance our league has to cover to practice in our gyms and equipment for the season. Your child will be provided with a T-shirt from Puyallup Parks and Recreation.

Orting Jr. Cardinals 5th-8th Grade Winter 2024/2025 - Winter 2024

Welcome to the Orting Junior Cardinal Basketball Winter Select League. We are a part of the Puyallup Recreation Winter Select League. This league is based on Grade Level, you are able to play up a grade level, but we are not able to have anyone play on a lower grade level, or it would cause the whole team to play up a Grade Level. We will have all of our practices in Orting, but all of our Games are played at a facility within Puyallup School District. Our practices will begin the week of November 4th and depending on our gym availability we usually practice 2 nights a week. Games usually begin the first weekend of December. Games may vary between Saturdays and Sundays, but always on the weekend. The season ends Mid to end of February depending on Playoff Status. We do not have control over the game schedule this is up to the Puyallup League Director.
